Midway Games will release The Wheelman in 2007 for the Xbox 360 and PS3

Vin Diesel will offer his acting skills to both a major motion picture and video game for a new project from MTV films titled The Wheelman.

The game version of the project will be developed by Midway Games and is expected to be released sometime in 2007 for both the Xbox 360 and the Sony PS3.

According to Coming Soon.net, "Wheelman is an action-adventure title about an expert driver who comes out of retirement to protect a woman from his past. The video game's story will be a prequel to the film, with some crossover between the two. The budget for the game is expected to be $15 million."

Last year, Midway announced that they would team up with MTV to jointly sell in-gam advertising as well as collaborate on soundtracks for 3 upcoming games. So it would make sense if MTV also provided the soundtrack for Wheelman.
